There are many times in our lives when things are not working out the right way,however miuch we try.Everything is going wrong,raging from problems at the work front,at home to your problem child.Or youcould have recived what is considered the greatest news of your life,you are pregnant but it�s making you depressed.
These and many more situations,events and problems might have crept into our lives.Some of us have taken a step forward and sought help.But most of us have kept it within us and suffered silently.
All we need is a mediator to connect the situation to the cause of the problems and things get done automatically.A counselor is no other than this mediator who helps discover solutions within ourselves.The counselor is the one who helps change one�s pain of being alone to the glory of being alone.
To make a beginning somewhere down town hospital has started the department of medical and psychiatric social work to help people address the above issues and much more.
The department offers the following services:

3. Child guidance.
4.Counselling and treatment for psychiatric problems.
5.Counselling for Adolescent problems.
6.Counselling for Adult problems.
7.Counselling for women.
8.Family counseling.
9.Geriatric counseling.
10.Testing services for children and adults.
